Associates

Associates. Known to many Hanszenites as super cool faculty members, alumni, and other people affiliated with Rice University who love undergraduate students. In fact, they like us so much that they ask to be affiliated with a particular college. Naturally, Hanszen has the best associates since we are the best residential college. Whether you see them hanging out in the Hanszen commons at lunch time, hosting you over for dinner during O-Week, or bringing outrageously delicious desserts to the famous "Sweets & Treats" study break, our associates have one major thing in common with our residential college that makes them so great: Hanszen Heart. And we students welcome our associates back with just as much love, which is why Hanszen has its Associates Committee.

Not much explanation is necessary--- the associates committee is here to manage all things related to our wonderful people this committee is named after. From selecting them to making sure that all Hanszenites make them feel special, we are here to make sure that the bond between Hanszenites and Hanszen Associates is always its strongest.
