One of the greatest parts of the residential college system is our self-governance. We have full control over how we spend our budget, whether in throwing great events or providing top-notch academic and wellbeing resources for Hanszenites.

Hanszen's Cabinet meets every Wednesday at 9:09 PM in the Upper Commons. It's the job of the cabinet's voting members to represent the college's issues and ideas for discussion at Cabinet and campus-wide.

It's not strictly business, though -- each week, Cabinet is a fun opportunity to catch up with old friends, grab some food, and participate in lively discussions about both Hanszen and campus-wide issues! Also, some cabinets are themed, with coveted Coffeehouse gift cards going to the winner of a costume contest or ping pong tournament.
