Description: As a New Student Represntative to Hanszen Cabinet, you will represent your class in our student government. Your responsibilities include voting in all cabinet decisions, making sure new students' voices are heard, organizing events for your class, and supplying food for cabinet once a month.

Description: As a New Student Represntative to the Student Association (Rice's campus-wide student government) you will represent both your class and Hanszen as a whole. Your responsibilities include making sure new students' and Hanszenites' voices are heard, as well as participating in 1 commission and pursuing an NSR project.

Description: As a New Student Justice, you will be a member of the Justice League as well as serving as a point of contact for your class. You will work with Abby (Hanszen CJ) and the other Associate Justices to form our college court, connect Hanszenites to resources, and peacefully resolve disputes.

Description: As an Off-Campus Represntative to Hanszen Cabinet, you will represent all Hanszen Off-Campus (OC) students in our student government. Your responsibilities include voting in all cabinet decisions, making sure OC voices are heard, and organizing events with the OC committee.

Description: As a Building Justice, you will be a member of the Justice League as well as serving as a point of contact for your region (dorm building and especially your floor). You will work with Connor (Hanszen CJ) and the other Associate Justices to form our college court, connect Hanszenites to resources, and peacefully resolve disputes.

Description: The Constitutional Review Committee is a group of Hanszenites, led by the Parliamentarians, that is reviewing our Constitution, Judicial Code, Election Code, and Bylaws.

Description: One student in each residential college is employed to act as a liaison between the College and Housing & Dining relative to the routine physical maintenance of the college. This position serves as a representative of the Housing & Dining Department in contact with the college government. It is anticipated that the duties will require some time each day, including nights and weekends, for proper performance (approximately 10 hours a week). The individual must be a responsible on campus college resident and willing to become familiar with the physical facilities of the college. The Student Maintenance Representative’s primary responsibility is to assist the Operations Director and the Housing and Dining team in ensuring compliance with the Housing Agreement.
